I’m Simone, a newborn photographer based in Canvey Island, Essex. I specialise in beautifully posed newborn photography, while also capturing the natural connection between your family.

I’ll gently guide your baby through a variety of beautiful poses, capturing all those tiny details you’ll want to remember, before bringing you and your family into the photographs too.
Whether it’s tiny toes, their sleepy face, their little fingers wrapped around yours or the way they look in your arms, I’ll capture the details that make this baby uniquely yours.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to bring a collection of outfits.
And you certainly don’t need to worry if your baby doesn’t settle straight away.

A calm, relaxed studio session
Your newborn session takes place in my private Canvey Island studio, where I’ve created a warm and comfortable environment for you and your baby.
Sessions can last up to 3 hours, giving us plenty of time to work around your baby’s needs.
There is no rushing.
If your baby needs feeding, changing, cuddling or settling, we simply stop and take our time.
My studio also has a carefully curated collection of newborn props, wraps, outfits and accessories, so I’ll take care of the styling for you.
All you need to bring is your baby.

After your session, you’ll be able to choose your favourite photographs from your proof gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my newborn photography session?
I recommend booking during pregnancy so we can reserve a date around your expected due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll confirm the exact session date.
How do I book?
Simply add your due date to my booking system below and I can come back to you with the a date to pencil in.
Once baby arrives we can always reschedule the session accordingly.
How old should my baby be for newborn photographs?
Newborn photographs are usually best captured during the first few weeks when babies are naturally sleepier and curl more easily into those beautiful newborn poses. However, every baby is different, so please get in touch if your baby is older.
Can siblings be included in the newborn session?
Absolutely. Sibling photographs are an important part of the session and can be included alongside photographs of parents and your baby.
Can parents be included?
Yes. I strongly recommend including parents in your newborn photographs. These photographs aren’t just about remembering what your baby looked like, they’re about remembering how your family was together at this moment.
What should I bring to the session?
Very little. I provide the newborn props, wraps, outfits and accessories. I’ll let you know anything specific you may need to bring before your session.
What happens if my baby needs feeding?
That’s completely fine. We simply stop whenever your baby needs feeding, changing or cuddling. There’s no need to rush.
How long does a newborn session take?
Your session can last up to 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for your baby to settle and for us to capture a variety of photographs.
How many photographs will I receive?
You’ll receive a proof gallery containing 70+ photographs to choose from. Your session includes 15 digital images, with the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the Complete Collection.
Where is your newborn photography studio?
My studio is based in Canvey Island, Essex (SS8). It has its own dedicated entrance, separate to my home.
Can I purchase the full gallery?
Yes. The Complete Collection costs £300 and includes every edited photograph from your session, together with 6x4 prints and a personalised USB presented in a keepsake box.
Do you provide newborn outfits and props?
Yes. My studio has a carefully curated collection of newborn outfits, wraps, props and accessories for you to choose from.
What if my baby won’t settle?
Don’t worry. Newborn sessions are relaxed and baby-led. We allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddling and settling, and I never expect a baby to simply sleep on demand. I can change up my workflow for awake time.
WHEN IS YOUR STUDIO OPEN?
As I have a little girl myself I am still currently working part time. My studio is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.
Weekend Availability
A limited number of Saturday appointments are available each month for a £70 out-of-hours fee.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is needed to secure your session.
This is then deducted from the final payment which is due on the day of your session.
