Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time for maternity photographs?

Maternity sessions are generally best around 30–36 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible but you may still be comfortable enough to enjoy your session.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is needed to secure your session.

This is then deducted from the final payment which is due on the day of your session.

How long does it take to get our photos?

Once the shoot is over I will then get the best ones ready for you to choose from within 72 working hours.

Once you have chosen you will have your final images within 2 weeks.

WHERE IS THE STUDIO?

My studio is based in Canvey Island, Essex (SS8).

What should I wear for my maternity session?

I’ll help you decide what to wear before your session. We can create a look that’s elegant, simple, feminine or more glamorous depending on your personal style.

Can my partner and children be included?

Yes. Your maternity session can include your partner and children, allowing us to capture this special time as a family before the new arrival.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. I’ll guide you throughout the session, showing you how to position yourself and where to look.

Can I book maternity and newborn photography together?

Absolutely. Many families choose to document both chapters. When you secure both dates you receive £20 discount off your newborn session.

How many photographs are included?

Your maternity package includes 15 selected digital photographs, with additional images available to purchase after your session.

Can I buy more photos?

Yes. The Complete Collection is £300 and includes every edited photograph from your session, together with 6x4 prints and a personalised USB presented in a keepsake box.

Individual images are £11 or you can buy 10 for £100.
