I’m Simone, a children’s photographer based in Canvey Island, Essex, creating beautifully styled milestone photographs with plenty of personality thrown in.

My cake smash sessions combine beautiful portraits of your little one with all the fun of their very own cake smash.
We’ll start with some gorgeous portraits while they’re still clean, before bringing out the cake and letting them explore, squish, taste and smash it however they like.
Because sometimes the best photographs happen when things get messy.

For the little ones who like to get messy.
THIS SESSION IS AIMES AT CHILDREN TURNING 2 AND OVER.
Paint Splash is a colourful, creative photography experience designed to capture your child’s personality while they have fun getting covered in paint.
Expect colour, laughter, messy hands, big smiles and photographs that are anything but ordinary.
It’s perfect for birthdays, milestones or simply because they’re at an age you’ll want to remember.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to provide the cake/paint?
No, this is all included in there price and provided by me! I order a cake to match your chosen theme. You will need to provide any information regarding allergies upon booking.
The paint and canvas is also provided m=by me. You get to take this home after to show off your little ones art in your home.
Can I choose the cake smash theme?
Yes! I have lots of designs you can choose from or you can send me some inspo to create your own set!
How long does it take to get our photos?
Once the shoot is over I will then get the best ones ready for you to choose from within 72 working hours.
Once you have chosen you will have your final images within 2 weeks.
What should my child wear?
For the cake smash photos I have a full client wardrobe you can choose from ranging from 9-12 to 12-18 months.
We aim to do 2-3 outfits for the portraits and then an outfit for the cake smash/paint splash.
For a paint splash most people use our denim dungarees for the paint splash which I will provide but you will need to bring the outfits for the portraits as my client wardrobe only goes up to 12-18 months.
HOW CLOSE TO THEIR BIRTHDAY SHOULD I BOOK?
If you would like the photos back in time for their birthday I would suggest choosing a date around 2-3 weeks before.
If you are not too fussed about having them back on their birthday you can choose any date! I have had lots of babies in on their actual birthday as part of their celebrations which is so mush fun!
WHERE IS THE STUDIO?
My photography studio is based in Canvey Island, Essex (SS8).
How many photographs are included?
Your session includes 15 digital images, with the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the Complete Collection.
You will receive a gallery of around 60+ images to choose from.
CAN I HAVE MORE THAN 15 IMAGES?
Yes. The Complete Collection is £300 and includes every edited photograph from your session, plus 6x4 prints and a personalised USB presented in a keepsake box.
Individual extras are £11 or you can buy 10 for £100.
WHEN IS THE STUDIO OPEN?
As I have a little one myself I am still only working part time. My studio is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Weekend Availability
A limited number of Saturday appointments are available each month for a £70 out-of-hours fee.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is needed to secure your session.
This is then deducted from the final payment which is due on the day of your session.
